INTEGRATION OF MUSICAL AND THEATRICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE AESTHETIC EDUCATION OF CHILDREN

The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of integration of musical and theatrical activities in the process of aesthetic education of preschool children, to determine its pedagogical conditions and effectiveness of influence on the aesthetic development of the child. The methodology of the study is based on a combination of general scientific principles (systematicity, integrity, dialectical contradiction, unity of quality and quantity, development, interconnection and interdependence of phenomena); general pedagogical principles (unity of learning, education and development, humanisation of the educational process, personality-oriented approach); artistic and pedagogical principles (synthesis of arts, aesthetisation of the educational environment, individual activity in creative work). The study used the methods of theoretical analysis of scientific literature, pedagogical observation, generalisation of pedagogical experience and analysis of the results of practical work of specialists of preschool education institutions. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that the author has identified and scientifically substantiated the pedagogical conditions that ensure the successful integration of musical and theatrical activities in the educational process of preschool education institutions, as well as established their impact on aesthetic sensitivity, creative imagination and artistic and creative activity of preschool children. Conclusions. The integration of musical and theatrical activities provides a holistic approach to aesthetic education, promotes the activation of creative potential, the development of artistic abilities, forms emotional sensitivity, imagination and children’s ability to empathise. The implementation of certain pedagogical conditions creates a favourable educational environment that stimulates the aesthetic development of preschoolers and helps to form an aesthetically developed personality.
