THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF ORGANIZING INDEPENDENT WORK OF FUTURE BACHELOR’S DEGREES OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical and methodological aspects of independent work of higher education students, identify effective conditions and stages of its organization for future teachers of preschool educational establishments. The research methodology is based on theoretical methods of analyzing the theory and practice of organizing the educational process of higher education institutions, in particular, independent work of higher education students as a necessary condition for the professional training of future educators, systematization of the results of modern scientific research on the problem raised in the publications of scientists. The scientific novelty lies in determining the stages of organizing independent work of students in higher education institutions, namely: preparatory, main and final. The work of the teacher as an organizer of independent work of students at each of the stages is revealed. Recommendations and conditions for the effective implementation of independent work of students in higher education institutions are given. The authors studied the content of the normative and elective disciplines of the educational and professional program “Preschool Education”, EL “Bachelor” (“Introduction to the specialty”, “General psychology”, “Psychology of early and preschool children”, “Adaptation and socialization of preschool children in preschool and primary school”, “Management in the preschool education system”, etc.) and revealed the forms of organizing independent work of future educators from the indicated educational components. The possibilities of using informal education on the platforms Сoursera, Рrometheus, ЕdEra as one of the ways to control the implementation of independent work by students are emphasized. Conclusions. The stages of organizing independent work of students of higher education institutions are determined: preparatory, main, final. The conditions for the effective implementation of independent work of future teachers of preschool education institutions are formulated: the formation of motivation in students by substantiating and explaining the goal and tasks; the teacher providing information on the content of independent work in this discipline, tasks that need to be completed, and requirements for each type of work; informing about the assessment criteria and requirements for completing tasks.
