Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the psychological consequences of war for student youth with an emphasis on determining psychodiagnostic markers and tools for their assessment. Purpose. The relevance of the study is due to the increase in the level of psychoemotional disorders among students who are in conditions of prolonged exposure to war stress, uncertainty and social instability. Methodology. The work systematizes modern scientific approaches to understanding the phenomenon of psychological traumatization and its impact on the functioning of the individual, and also analyzes the results of empirical studies that reflect the peculiarities of the mental state of youth in conditions of war. Scientific novelty. It is determined that the key psychodiagnostic markers of psychological distress of students are an increased level of stress, anxiety, depressive manifestations, emotional exhaustion, symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder, as well as impaired cognitive processes and adaptation mechanisms. The role of coping behavior as a significant factor in adaptation to stressogenic influences is outlined and the advantage of problemoriented coping strategies in reducing psychoemotional tension is proven. Conclusions. The article describes modern psychodiagnostic methods that provide a comprehensive assessment of the psycho-emotional state, allowing to identify risk groups and determine the areas of psychocorrectional work with them. It is shown that their integrated application increases the accuracy of diagnostics and contributes to the development of effective programs of psychological support, guidance and assistance
