Abstract. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the structural model of formation of professional competence of future pharmacy specialists in the process of studying chemical disciplines by means of innovative technologies. The research methodology is based on general scientific approaches (system, activity, competence, technological), methods (structural-logical analysis, synthesis, generalization) and principles of systematicity, scientificity. The scientific novelty is determined by the fact that, based on the analysis of scientific psychological and pedagogical literature, long-term practical pedagogical experience, a model of the formation of professional competence of future pharmacy specialists in the process of studying chemical disciplines has been developed, which is a complete functional system, the structural components of which are interconnected. The proposed model is consistent with the logical sequence of the educational process, considers its purpose, tasks, content, innovative technologies, forms, methods, modern teaching aids, pedagogical conditions, ensures the implementation of methodological approaches and teaching principles, provides an opportunity to increase the effectiveness of the training of pharmacy specialists and to exert corrective effects on the process of formation of professional competence. Conclusions. The implementation of the developed structural model should ensure the formation of professional competence of future pharmacy specialists, contribute to the formation of positive motivation for educational activities as a result of the use of innovative learning technologies, aid the assimilation of the theoretical knowledge, accelerate the formation of practical skills and abilities during the classes of chemical disciplines, which are essential for future professional activities.
