PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MANIFESTATION OF EMOTIONAL STATES IN CHILDREN OF PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE

The article provides a theoretical and empirical analysis of the development of emotional states of the personality of a junior student. The aim of the article is a theoretical and empirical analysis of the problem of studying the individual characteristics of positive and negative emotional states in younger students. Emotional states of children are seen as a complex system of understanding their emotions and feelings, which are important in the formation of a growing personality. Manifestations of emotional states perform a positive function, with their help the child learns to know the world, to be inspired by creativity, to be successful, to be safe. In children of primary school age, the experience of joy, tenderness promotes the development of interest in creativity, mental activity, skills and abilities. Emotions of joy are closely related to cognitive processes. The emergence and experience of joy develop a person’s confidence, patience, generosity. Children’s experiences of emotional states such as compassion, tenderness and joy form a positive attitude towards the learning process and develop the ability to make friends and help other students. Periodically, children experience negative emotional states that provoke negative behaviors in the individual. Some children of primary school age have a tendency to negative emotional manifestations (impatience, arrogance, aggression, etc.), which indicates anxiety and insecurity of such students, and requires corrective and developmental work with them.
