Abstract. The purpose of the article is to analyze the means of feedback during distance learning in institutions of higher education. The research methodology combines general scientific methods of theoretical research (analysis, classification and generalization) with philosophical ones (systemic-structural analysis, formal-logical method) and also includes scientific approaches (competent, systematic and complex). The scientific novelty lies in the fact that, using the above-mentioned methods and scientific approaches, the article characterizes the peculiarities of the implementation of feedback and classifies the means of feedback during distance learning of students in institutions of higher education. Conclusions. Therefore, feedback is an important component of any lesson, the value of which becomes even more important during distance learning. The main characteristics of feedback (function, time, schedule, and type) are considered, as well as features that should be considered when providing feedback in both face-to-face and distance learning. In the process of this form of education, teachers and students communicate indirectly with the help of various digital devices to establish feedback through the use of various Internet platforms and tools, which are classified by functionality (platforms for organizing online classes, online classes, online forms , instant feedback tools, online tests, online quizzes, interactive whiteboards, mind maps, audio online communication). The considered tools help the teacher to organize effective feedback with students of higher education during distance learning. The perspective of further research consists in a more detailed analysis of the considered means of feedback in the mode of distance learning.
