TRANSNATIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF CONSUMER RIGHTS PROTECTION: THE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND CONTRACTUAL MECHANISMS IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of transnational cooperation in the field of consumer rights protection in the globalized world. We consider the challenges associated with the growing volume of international trade and electronic commerce, which affect safety, quality and consumer rights. Various aspects of consumer safety and challenges facing consumers on a global scale are explored. It is noted that effective protection of consumer rights requires joint efforts of international organizations, national governments, public organizations and the business sector. The need to develop joint regulatory mechanisms, quality standards and certification to ensure consumer confidence in international goods and services was emphasized. The role and importance of international organizations, national governments, public organizations and the business sector in the development of effective transnational cooperation for the protection of consumer rights are highlighted. Determined to understand the issues and challenges of protecting consumer rights in a global context, and also stimulates the need for joint action and partnership to ensure safety, trust and consumer rights at the international level. The theme of the importance of transnational cooperation for the protection of consumer rights in a globalized world is explored. Consumer protection is becoming increasingly important due to growing international trade and e-commerce, which leads to increased risks for consumers on a global scale. Possible ways to solve the problem are considered, such as the development of a unified system of standards, the use of international certification bodies, the development of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, the promotion of consumer education and the creation of electronic platforms for consumer appeals. Stimulation for further research and cooperation between all interested parties with the aim of improving the protection of consumer rights at the international level is emphasized. Only through the interaction of international organizations, national governments, public organizations and the business sector can positive changes be achieved in the field of consumer protection and ensure their rights and trust in the international market. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze transnational cooperation in the field of consumer rights protection with special emphasis on the role of international organizations and contractual mechanisms in the context of Ukraine. The research methodology includes the analysis of literary sources, the study of international treaties and conventions, conducting empirical research and interviews with experts in order to determine effective strategies for transnational cooperation in the field of consumer rights protection in Ukraine. The scientific novelty of this work is the systematization and analysis of the current state of transnational cooperation in the field of consumer rights protection, taking into account the experience of international organizations and contractual mechanisms, as well as highlighting the prospects for the implementation of these approaches in Ukrainian practice.
