Abstract. The article is devoted to highlighting issues of the development of digital competence of medical workers during the SARS Covid 19 pandemic. Digital technologies have become an integral part of the professional activity of a modern doctor. In addition to paperless management of disease histories, information technologies have provided medical workers with a powerful tool, that can not only simplify the implementation of tasks related to their professional activities, but also really preserve the health and lives of patients. That’s why the training of doctors on the use of digital technologies in their professional activities should receive unconditional priority in the process of improving the qualifications of medical workers. The methodological basis of the research is the study of changes in the working conditions of family doctors using new digital technologies, services, and resources, and a survey conducted among them in the process of improving their qualifications. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the development of an innovative training program, which is based on the study of the new needs of family doctors in the field of mastering digital technologies, includes organizing synchronous and asynchronous communication, the use of medical information systems, cloud services, training in infomedia literacy and the basics of cybersecurity.
