TEST PROBLEMS IN ALGEBRA AND THE BEGINNING OF ANALYSIS AS A DIDACTIC MEANS OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS

In the context of the ideas of personality-oriented and competency-based education, the problem of assessment in the educational process acquires a new meaning. The traditional understanding of assessment as a control tool is giving way to its development as a means of forming key competencies, independence and a responsible attitude to learning. The reform of the Ukrainian education system, in particular the assessment system, is carried out taking into account the leading global educational trends. At the heart of this process is the concept of a competency-based approach, adaptation to European standards, as well as ensuring the pedagogical autonomy of the teacher. The purpose of the article is to clarify the conditions and methods of using test tasks in the educational activities of a mathematics teacher and develop an algorithm for their use in the process of teaching algebra in high school. The research methodology is based on an analysis of the literature; analysis of the capabilities of the software complex for thematic assessment of educational activities; observation of student testing, interviewing them after the testing procedure; study of the experience of mathematics teachers who use computer testing in their lessons to improve performance; study of the school curriculum, educational literature, textbooks. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the theoretical analysis of various techniques and methods and in the implementation of test tasks as a didactic tool when conducting computer testing using the LearningApps platform will contribute to improving success. Conclusions. The developed author’s test tasks in algebra for grade 10 on the topic “Power function with a natural exponent, its properties” were used by applicants during their pedagogical practice. An experimental verification of the author’s test was carried out using the LearningApps platform, where students showed high scores and improved results from the previous lesson. Using a statistical criterion, it was proven that computer testing improves students’ knowledge and interest.
