Purpose. This article aims to theoretically substantiate and synthesize current approaches to the psychological support of adolescents diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) within the context of contemporary sociocultural and wartime realities. The study seeks to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge from neuropsychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), body-oriented psychotherapy, and psychosocial support practices.Methodology. A comprehensive theoretical and analytical framework was applied, encompassing a critical review of scholarly literature, interdisciplinary synthesis, classification of psychotherapeutic interventions, and generalization of clinical-psychological observations. Particular emphasis was placed on techniques such as exposure therapy, interoceptive awareness and bodily focus, fear-rating scales, counterconditioning, reciprocal inhibition, paradoxical intention, and a range of breathing and relaxation exercises. Scientific novelty. The study introduces an integrated model of psychological support for adolescents with GAD, combining individual psychotherapy, family psychoeducation, sleep hygiene normalization, body-oriented interventions (including dance/movement therapy), and CBT-based techniques tailored to wartime conditions. The stabilizing role of the parental environment in adolescent emotional regulation is also highlighted. Conclusions. Effective psychological support for adolescents with GAD requires a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach that addresses the neurophysiological, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of anxiety. The implementation of adaptive interventions – including family psychoeducation, somatic regulation methods (breathwork and movement-based techniques), cognitive restructuring, and sleep normalization – contributes to symptom reduction, enhanced stress resilience, and improved quality of life for adolescents facing adverse life circumstances.
