The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate and empirically investigate psychological capital as a key resource of self-regulation in adolescents during wartime. The research methodology is based on a synthesis of philosophical, general psychological, and specific scientific principles, implemented in accordance with the requirements of systematicity, scientific rigor, and verification. The scientific novelty lies in identifying the specific influence of the synergy between psychological capital components (hope, self-efficacy, resilience, optimism) on self-regulation mechanisms in adolescents under wartime stress, demonstrating the effectiveness of a resource-oriented approach in preventing youth maladjustment. Conclusions. Psychological capital is a systematically organized and balanced set of resources comprising positive psychological characteristics, such as optimism, self-efficacy, resilience, and hope, which contribute to enhancing a young person’s mental well-being and adaptability in society. This capital encompasses internal reserves of the individual that help overcome life difficulties, develop emotional stability, and build successful interactions with others. The synergy of psychological capital components forms a key self-regulation resource for youth in wartime conditions, empirically confirming its role as a fundamental basis for mental well-being and adaptive potential of the individual. Practical significance. The obtained results open perspectives for developing targeted psychological interventions aimed at fostering psychological capital in adolescence. These approaches gain particular relevance in the context of restoring educational environments and creating psychologically safe spaces for personality development during wartime.
