THE SELF-ASSESSMENT OF PROBLEM QUESTIONS OF MOTIVATION OF STUDY AND VISION FOR SOLVING IN STUDENTS OF PSYCHOLOGYCAL SPECIALIZATION

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze subjective value of motivation of study and problem in it in students of psychological specialization, and also to investigate their views about problem of low motivation and ways of its improvement. The research methodology is based on systematical analysis of views on motivation of study and factors of their formation in particular the target of future professional activity, organization of education, development emotion and volitional sphere of person. We’ve analyzed applied modern researches in the theme. The scientific novelty is an idea, that the base of research is analysis opinion of students on reasons of low motivation of study and possible ways to solve the problem using focus-interview. Conclusions. As the result of investigation, we’ve compared problem questions the motivation of study in the student with two types of motivational focus (on achievement and avoid failure). We’ve discovered the students with high achieve motivation are often oriented on study and they more often compete then persons with motivation of avoid failure.But independently of motivational focus the salary and self-realization are main goals of study. More fundamental interview detailed reasons of decreasing of motivation of study among which there are work, lack of time, difficult of learning study material, lost of interest in study because they don’t have enough practice. Found that the main obstacle on the way to increase the motivation isn’t choosing of ways to encourage but it’s insufficient development of voluntary sphere and ability to self-organize. That’s why increasing of time for self-study aggravates its effectiveness.
