THE PROBLEM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SEPARATION FROM PARENTS IN EARLY ADULTHOOD IN THE CONDITION OF DIGITAL CULTURE

The article is devoted to the study of the actual problem of psychological separation from parents during early adulthood in the context of transformations caused by digital culture. The purpose of the article is to theoretical understanding of the features of separation processes in early adulthood and analysis of the influence of the digital environment on the dynamics and content of psychological separation from parents. The research methodology is based on the systemic, structural-functional, cultural-psychological, activity and personality-oriented approaches.The methods used are the theoretical analysis of scientific literature, comparative historical and logical-theoretical analysis. The scientific novelty lies in an attempt to comprehensively theorize the impact of digital culture on the process of psychological separation in early adulthood, which allows identifying new risk factors and resources for personal growth in a media-dependent social space. The article summarizes approaches to understanding separation as a key stage in the formation of personal autonomy, considers the specifics of its manifestation in postmodern society, and analyzes the phenomena of digital attachment, media-mediated dependence, and symbolic support from parents. Conclusions.It has been shown that the digital environment can both hinder and facilitate psychological separation, depending on individual psychological, family, and cultural factors. It is noted that authoritarian and guardianship parenting styles often use digital tools to maintain control, making it difficult for young people to separate. Democratic parenting styles help young people develop their own independence, including using the digital environment. The author substantiates the prospects for further research in the direction of empirical study of the relationship between the media behavior of young people and their level of autonomy.
