FOREIGN-LANGUAGE SOFT SKILLS OF FUTURE AVIATION SPHERE’S RESEARCHERS IN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract

The article purpose is to substantiate the relevance of mastering foreign language flexible soft skills necessary for international communication by future scientists in the aviation industry. The research methodology is based on combination of philosophical and specific-thematic principles with systematic and scientific methods. The scientific novelty is expressed in the following. Using the method of analysis of scientific resources and the results of empirical research, the definition of the term “flexible soft skills” and the interpretation of the term “foreign language flexible soft skills” are considered. In the context of globalization and Ukraine’s integration into the European educational space, mastery of flexible soft foreign language skills is becoming a mandatory component of researcher’s competitiveness in the global scientific arena. After all, it is knowledge of languages that allows for effective international communication, exchange of experience and best practices. The importance of foreign language soft skills for future scientists in the aviation industry has been identified as an important factor in their future scientific success. This refers to the importance of soft skills for international communication. Communicative soft skills are distinguished. They include key skills needed by future scientists for international communication.Conclusions. Foreign language flexible soft skills help future aviation scientists succeed in international communication and are the key to successful intercultural interaction and fruitful cooperation in a multinational context. The most relevant types of foreign language soft skills necessary for future aviation scientists for international communication are classified. These skills are necessary for cooperation in international scientific projects, publication of scientific articles in international journals, exchange of scientific data, and participation in international conferences and seminars.
